Relaxation with Music and Poetry

Relaxation with Music and Poetry shows videos below are here to help you unwind after a strenuous day. Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us. The power of music evokes lost memory. “Music expresses that which cannot be said of and on which it is impossible to be silent.”–Victor Hugo.

Take time

Although it is hard to stop the cycle of being busy I want to encourage you to make time in your life to be outside in nature. Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better. – Albert Einstein. A walk in the forest will fill your lungs with health — O2 and sunshine. This is stress-reducing for people. The trees give off essential oils which are healing called phytoncides –the volatile organic organic compounds (VOC’s) emitted by trees. These they are visual, olfactory, and some are ingestible.

Among the trees

To just be among the trees and listen to the birds is a quieting place for you. Just being in the stillness of God’s creation reprograms and recalibrates our system to function in such a way that we can receive more of God’s presence in our souls. Forest bathing: an ancient idea for the modern world.

God said he gave us the beauty of his creation — forests- so those without belief have no excuse. Rom 1:20. We are beautiful creatures in his sight also. This is a good reason to take care of the temple (ourselves).

Relaxation can be most effective if you use deep breathing for 20 minutes in a place you can comfortably sit. If you cannot be outdoors enjoy the videos below.

Relaxation with Music and Poetry will provide mental relief from your strenuous and long days.

Forests are places where we can relax and unwind and have been places where we can relax and unwind in nature and become “youthful as the trees.” While we are visiting our forest lands and enjoying the fresh oxygen our experience can be enhanced by going here with a quick snap:

Why not take a cat nap instead of worrying?

STOP. When all else fails take a nap. A good laugh an a long sleep are the two best cures for anything. SMILE. Go On.

 “Cheer Up”

Sure this world is full of trouble

I ain’t said it ain’t.

Poetry and Relaxation

Lord! I’ve had enough and double

Reason for complaint.

Rain and storm have come to fret me

Skies are often gray,

Thorns and brambles have beset me on the road –

But say, if we walk with Jesus, ain’t it fine today? SMILE

More Poetry for Relaxation

For Christians it is a poem for each day!  Always and forever GOD IS IN CONTROL! The Lord, I say, not man, not climate, not governments, bombs or laws; the Creator and His plan will be victorious. Christ will return at the exact moment the Father decreed from the beginning.

The world will fade

At that moment the world will fade to insignificance as we, and all mankind will stand in the unfiltered glory of the Lamb. So however good or bad life is treating you today, look up and thank the Lord. If you are doing well, thank God for His blessings and if you have to look up to see the bottom, look up! Look up and thank Jesus for the opportunity to take the bad with the good and perhaps learn a spiritual lesson to strengthen us.

The Lord wants us to enjoy this life while looking for the sublime beauty of the next.  The last year or so has shown us the hammering boredom of a simple humdrum life of isolation.  This kind of controlled and limited movement is familiar to those who have been unwilling guests of the state correctional system.  But it is not the life God plans for us.

This Psalm expresses how we should greet each new day:

Sing not complain

Relaxation with Music and Poetry helps us sing. “Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! We will come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95:1-3 NKJV) Singing unites mind/thoughts and emotions for best health.

If we hold these verses in our heart, hope will bloom.  Stay close to Jesus, things are just getting interesting!

 Maranatha!

Attitude is important as it is good to remain positive even through the down times in our lives and in the life of our nation.

Let us dare to test God’s resources…..Let us ask Him to kindle in us and keep aflame that passion for the impossible that shall make us delight in it with Him, till the day when we shall see it transformed into a fact.

We have a God who delights in impossibilities.  —  Andrew Murray

Dwell in possibility — wonderful world of poetry.  – Emily Dickinson
