Back to the Basics

When we go Back to the Basics we see where society of today has gone wrong. It went wrong first with misuse of telephones. Norman Rockwell illustrated it best. And today we have the media spreading misinformation, disinformation, hearsay and photoshopping. With the upsurge of technology spreads with the click of a control key and teleprompter. It used to take the telegraph days, hours, and untold time and now with technology a lie can be spread in the blink of an eye so everyone is equally misinformed instantly. If you tell a lie long enough it will become a truth.

From in person to tele-health to “tell a woman”

The doctor of families used to do everything in person. Rockwell reminds us of this in his paintings. This has evolved into connecting through your computer and cell phone to a “contact person” with some medical knowledge. This diagnosis may be correct or not. Tele-health has some benefits and happens almost instantaneously. So this has become the Gladys Kravitz of today’s world. Connections

There is an interconnectedness between scientific discoveries–and to have the whole picture one must connect the parts. -James Burke

Don’t be a frog but be a FROG – Fully Rely On GOD

Has our plight in US originated from slow deception through the years. If you attempt to pop a frog into a post of boiling water, he’ll jump out every time. But if you put the little fellow into a pot of cold water, set it on a low flame, and warm it slowly, he’ll sit back, relax, and let you cook him to death. The frog is so impressed by the nice warm, cozy feeling he doesn’t- pay attention to what’s going on. Before he knows what hit him–bam!–fresh frog soup. For many years many of us have had the frog mentality when it came to education, medical realities and you name it. We each have the responsibility–and capability — to keep ourselves healthy and informed.

So it is with spiritual life. “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude about it.” – Maya Angelou. Change the electrical charge in your mind here.
